A team of students from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) visited Riseup Labs, a next-generation global IT service and technology solution provider company in Bangladesh, to gain insights into the Quality Assurance (QA) practices in Information Technology (IT) companies.
AIUB Students Visit on August 2023
A few students of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) from AIUB visited Riseup Labs for their Software Requirement Engineering project. The main purpose was to know about the software requirement engineering process and how IT companies ensure that the client’s requirements are thoroughly understood and implemented in a project
During their visit, the visitors were treated to a quick office tour. They explored Riseup Labs’ QA team’s workstations. Then the Instructor Mr. Wasif Zaman provided a simple rundown of QA’s role and how projects progress from start to finish.
AIUB Students Visit on April 2023
Some Students of Honours, the final year of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), visited Riseup Labs on Tuesday, 2nd May, 27th April, and 17th April 2023. They wanted to know about how to prepare test plans, test cases, and QA activities in an IT company for Software Testing.
Mr. Ershadul Hoque, Founder & CEO of Riseup Labs, warmly welcomed the students. Then the Riseup Labs team gave them a tour of the company’s facilities. They were introduced to the Production departments and their Product Managers, QA Engineers, Software Developers, Artists, and others. The students were impressed with the state-of-the-art infrastructure at the company, which included advanced software testing tools and equipment.
Benefits of Visiting Riseup Labs for QA Practice
The students were particularly interested in the testing tools used by Riseup Labs, such as automated testing tools, load testing tools, and performance testing tools. They also learned the importance of collaboration and communication between software developers and QA teams to ensure that the software products meet the required quality standards.
The Riseup Labs team gave the students a detailed overview of software testing and quality assurance practices. They also informed and briefed them about the various activities involved in QA. Team Riseup Labs advised the CSE students including:

AIUB Students Visits in 2022
AIUB students visited Riseup Labs in 2022 to survey the QA practices in software companies. They asked the Quality Assurance Engineer of RUL if they use QA during the testing phase. The students were from the Department of Computer Science & Engineering of American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB).
On Sunday, 13th November 2022 Some students of MSS of CSE visited Riseup Labs. The QA team introduces them to the QA Engineers, Software Developers, Software Quality Assurance Engineers, and others.
Some AIUB students visited Riseup Labs. They will survey Software Companies in Bangladesh on How they maintain the QA in the testing phase of the SDLC in Software. The students prepared some survey questions, and we answered their questions. AIUB students also praised our working environment and testing procedure.

Using this survey data, we wanted to check the practices of QA in the software companies during the testing phase are increased or not. But we saw that team Riseup Labs has amazing procedures for QA service. Now we realize our country has some Software companies on the international level.
