On June 24, 2026, Riseup Labs was proud to be part of one of Bangladesh’s most significant gatherings of tech talent – the BDJobs IT & AI Job Fair 2026, held at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh auditorium in Dhaka. The day-long event brought together thousands of IT graduates, professionals, and industry leaders in one dynamic space, and we were thrilled to have our booth among the most visited at the fair.
The IT & AI Job Fair 2026 at a Glance
This year’s BDJobs IT & AI Job Fair was nothing short of remarkable. The event drew nearly 10,000 IT graduates and professionals and saw strong participation from over 100 local and international companies, including names like Riseup Labs, Fiber@Home, BRACNet, Augmedix, and Quantigo AI, all seeking to recruit across the fast-evolving technology sector. Together, the participating organizations aimed to fill approximately 2,000 positions across roles in software development, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and business development.
One standout feature of this year’s edition was the fully digital application process. Job seekers scanned QR codes linked to specific openings to apply – no printed CVs accepted. This digital-first approach was a fitting nod to the industry the fair represents.
A Space Where Talent Meets Opportunity
Our booth saw consistent interest throughout the day, and the energy was electric. Thousands of aspiring professionals crowded the venue, eager to learn about roles in IT, AI, and beyond. The fair also featured a mock interview program for recent graduates, where industry professionals conducted live interview sessions and provided actionable career feedback, a brilliant initiative that went beyond mere recruitment to genuinely invest in candidate readiness.
More than 300 IT graduates participated in these mock sessions, walking away with something more valuable than a job application: real-world guidance on how to position themselves in a competitive market.
AI and the Future of Work: Key Takeaways
The inauguration address by BDJobs CEO set an important tone for the day. He acknowledged that while AI is reshaping the nature of jobs and will continue to do so, it is not simply eliminating them. The professionals who will thrive are those who upskill and adapt, embracing the new reality rather than resisting it.
He also highlighted a critical gap in Bangladesh’s tech ecosystem: while the number of IT graduates has grown significantly, the available job opportunities have not kept pace. However, there is a silver lining, over the past year, hiring in AI-related roles has accelerated, opening new employment avenues that simply didn’t exist before. This is a signal we at Riseup Labs have been watching closely, and it reflects our own direction as an AI-first technology company.
Knowledge Exchange: Seminars on the Future of Tech
Alongside the recruitment fair, the BDJobs AI Conference featured two thought-provoking seminars that generated tremendous interest:
- Agentic Software Development – exploring how autonomous AI agents are reshaping the software engineering workflow.
- The AI Content Method for Content Creators – examining how AI is transforming content creation at scale.
These sessions underscored what we at Riseup Labs believe deeply: that understanding and working with AI, not against it, is the path forward for every technology professional today.
Riseup Labs at the Fair
For us, the BDJobs IT & AI Job Fair 2026 was more than a recruitment drive, it was an opportunity to connect with the future of Bangladesh’s tech workforce. Events like this remind us why we invest so heavily in talent, in learning, and in building an AI-first culture internally. The passion and curiosity we witnessed from hundreds of young professionals reaffirmed our belief in the immense potential of Bangladesh’s technology sector.
We are always looking for driven, curious, and talented individuals to join our team. If you’re ready to be part of a company that is building for the future, we’d love to hear from you.
