Riseup Labs has participated in the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) Meeting of the CHCP e-Learning Platform with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Community Health Care Project (CHCP). RUL has joined the meeting as the Technical Support provider of this e-learning platform.

On 15th December 2022, the ‘Development of Refreshers Training Package for CHCPs First Consultation Meeting of Technical Advisory Group (TAG)’ workshop was arranged at BMRC Bhaban, Mohakhali, Dhaka of Bangladesh.

Community Based Health Care (CBHC), Community Clinic Health Support Trust (CCHST), Health Service Division, and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) organized the workshop. 

Professor Sayed Modasser Ali, Chairman of the Community Clinic Trustee Board, Tulshi Ranjan Saha, Managing Director of CCHST and Dr. Masud Reza Kabir, Line Director, CBHC, CCHST, Dr. M Sabbir Haider, Program Manager (HRD & CM) CBHC, CCHST and Dr. Moinul Haque, Consultant of WHO, along with the Project Manager of Riseup Labs took part at the Consultation Meeting as the resource person.

Meeting Purpose

The purpose of the ‘Development of Refreshers Training Package for CHCPs First Consultation Meeting of Technical Advisory Group (TAG)’ meeting was to give feedback on the development of the CHCP e-Learning Platform project.

All the health departments of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and other Community Based Health Care joined the meeting so that they could give technical feedback on the eLearning platform.

Meeting Outcome

The meeting outcome of the Technical Advisory Group Meeting was fruitful as all the participants gave feedback. Some of the outcomes of the meeting were:

  • Value creation of the platform developed by Riseup Labs for Community Health Care Provider (CHCP) workers
  • Training structure and standard maintenance for CHCP workers
  • Outline of the project 

How Riseup Labs Started Working on this Project

Riseup Labs is collaborating with the World Health Organization (WHO) and Community based Health Care (CBHC) to develop the CHCP e-Learning Platform. A contract was signed between Riseup Labs and WHO on September 18, 2022, to build the eLearning Platform.

RUL has been developing this eLearning Platform and updating the platform with appropriate content and training modules so that the users can get online training with digital content through the platform.
