Unicef releases its first webpage. For Meena Media Award with technical help from Riseup Labs. Similarly, this year, Meena Media Award’19 has stepped its journey towards the 15th year! Submissions are open for multiple categories for the award, and the deadline is June 02, 2019.
Gaming is a fun thing in our country today. Unlike earlier days, internet speed is fast now. As a result, people of all ages are into games. Not only children, but people of all ages are up for a great time. As a result, even after coming from offices, they are up for a video game. This has to be relatable. Only after that, we can discuss the rest.
The game before Meena Media award
People are going for things that they understand. So, the first rule of a video game is that people should get to understand it. Only if they know they will spend more time on it. They will then share it. Without that, not the game can grow in the longer run. The reason is simple. People love to try things after listening form others. Without that, it is demanding that they will ever download and play it. That is not quite hard to achieve. Because when the game is good, it quickly gets referrals. People love sharing. Because sharing is caring. In addition, who doesn’t want to share good things with others? As a result, the game gets the value it deserves in the longer run.

Details- Meena Media Award
This award recognizes excellence in promoting children’s issues in the media. Invite Bangladeshi citizens to print, electronic and online media, 18 years of age and below 18 years of age and older, to submit/publish, entertain, publish news based or biographical publications/programs/drawings in Bangladesh for 7 categories. Going on
Submissions for Meena Media Award are in two different age groups: Under-18 and 18 & above and seven categories:
- Award- Print Media/Online Media:
- Reports (news reports, investigative reports, features, post editorials)
- Creative (articles, features, stories, poems)
- Award- Visual Media:
- Reports including videography (news reports, investigative reports)
- Creative contents including videography (features, documentaries, short films, animations, plays, songs)
- Radio:
- Award- Reports (news reports, investing reports)
- Award- Creative (Radio features, documentaries, radio dramas, songs)
- News Photography:
- Online/print media
AWARD FOR EACH CATEGORY:
- First Award: One Crest, One Certificate & BDT 50,000.
- Second Award: One Crest, One Certificate & BDT 25,000.
- Third Award: One Crest, One Certificate & BDT 15,000.

Submitted entries for the Meena Media Award 2019 should have been published or broadcasted in between May 01, 2018 and April 30, 2018. However, no submission of entries will continue till June 02, 2019.
