Overview
We are proud to announce that Daffodil International University students completed industrial attachment course at Riseup Labs, gaining real-world exposure to the tech industry. This special program welcomed students from the Department of Information and Communication Engineering for an immersive training held from April 13 to April 28, 2025.
Throughout the two-week program, 9 talented students explored software development practices hands-on, with a deep focus on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This collaboration reflects our ongoing commitment to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry expertise—preparing students not just to graduate but to lead the future of technology.
The Program at a Glance
- Program Duration: April 13 – April 28, 2025
- Location: Riseup Labs Headquarters
- Core Topic: Masterclass on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Participants: 9 Future Tech Stars + Riseup Labs Expert Trainer Team
- Special Attendees: 2 Honorable Lecturers from Daffodil International University at the Certificate Ceremony
Program Objectives
The goal of this industrial attachment was to:
- Introduce students to real-world software development environments.
- Provide deep insights into every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and team collaboration.
- Prepare students with practical skills necessary for future career success.
Through interactive sessions, live demonstrations, and guided projects, students explored the real processes behind how world-class software is conceived, designed, built, tested, deployed, and maintained.
Meet the Trainers Behind the Magic
The program was led by the best minds on the front lines, each bringing their industry knowledge, best practices, and personal career journeys:
- Rakib Hasan Dipu – Sr. Product Manager, Riseup Labs
- Wasif Zaman – SQA Team Lead, Riseup Labs
- Redwan Hasif Alvi – Software Engineer, Riseup Labs
- Md. Enamul Hoque – Senior DevOps Engineer, Riseup Labs
Their mentorship helped students connect theoretical concepts with real-world scenarios and current industry demands.
What They Learned: Beyond Books, Into the Real World
Every session of the attachment program was designed to turn classroom concepts into real-world capabilities.
Here’s what the students walked away with:
Phase-by-Phase Mastery
Students experienced the full arc of a real-world project—from requirement analysis and system design to development, deployment, and post-launch maintenance.
Agile Thinking
No more theory! Each of them worked with Agile and Scrum frameworks in a practical setting—learning how modern teams deliver faster, adapt quickly, and thrive through collaboration.
Quality First
Through simulated QA workflows, students discovered how to write, test, and ship software that holds up in the real world—robust, scalable, and user-ready.
Tech Culture
They navigated tools and workflows used by top-tier software teams—version control, issue tracking, sprint boards—while learning the soft skills that power great collaboration.
Problem-Solving in Action
Faced with industry-inspired challenges, students sharpened their ability to debug, document, and make decisions under pressure—transforming how they think, not just what they know.
Celebration of Growth: The Grand Certificate Ceremony

At the end of the journey, each student received a Certificate of Completion—a badge of honor recognizing their dedication and new expertise. And to make it even more special, two distinguished lecturers from Daffodil International University joined us to celebrate their students’ achievements. It was a proud moment that celebrated their growth, curiosity, and determination to build a future in tech.
