At Riseup Labs, such celebratory and happy events are a mainstay. When a celebration is due, you can be sure a surprise event is on the way! Case in point, last Wednesday’s evening gaming arrangement had everyone feeling excited. For many, the prospect of mentally clocking out early for an HR event is a happy delight to look forward to. Receiving an official announcement in the morning along with the promise of prizes just makes for a more cheerful day. 

As evening drew closer, the work pace came to a halt as everyone geared up for the highly anticipated session. With the seating arrangement and setup, it was no longer a mystery that it was going to be a fun-filled round of pillow-passing madness. Mind you, this game can get highly competitive. Soon, the team members took to their desired seats followed by vigorous rehearsing and strategizing to emerge victorious. They even made pacts to get their teams to win. After the brain-storm and practice sessions, the game ensued. One thing was clear: the game could easily claim the most determined players despite how much one trained their reaction time. After several rounds of exuberant laughter and defeats, the game came to a thrilling showdown between tech and marketing. Wading through the long and strategy-intensive finale, tech emerged victorious with loud cheers and celebrations. What an intense match!
