Riseup Labs is pleased to announce the successful deployment of the new Bangladesh Election Commission (BEC) website, now live at ecs.gov.bd. This milestone marks an important step forward in strengthening the country’s digital public service infrastructure.
High-Performance, Scalable & Reliable System
The newly deployed platform has been engineered to support high concurrency and large-scale public access. Since going live, the system has already successfully served 111.88 million requests, demonstrating strong performance, stability, and reliability under heavy load.
The infrastructure has been optimized to ensure fast response times, secure data handling, and uninterrupted access—especially critical during periods of high public demand.
NID Lookup & Vote Center Information Integration

As part of the deployment, an essential public service feature has been integrated into the platform. Citizens can now easily access voter area and designated polling station information using their National ID (NID) through the official portal:

This enhancement improves accessibility, transparency, and convenience for voters seeking accurate election-related information.
