On September 29, 2026, Riseup Labs brought team members together for our latest Town Hall — a celebration of the achievements, milestones, and contributions that shaped Q2 and Q3 of 2026.

More than a company-wide gathering, the Town Hall gave us an opportunity to reflect on the progress we made over the two quarters, recognize the people and teams behind that progress, share valuable knowledge, and align ourselves for the opportunities ahead.

From mental health and well-being to project achievements, emerging engineering roles, employee recognition, and the growing influence of AI, the event reflected our commitment to both our people and our future.

Prioritizing Mental Health & Well-being

A healthy workplace starts with healthy people.

As part of the Town Hall, Shaed Ashaf, Managing Partner & Head of Business Operations at Tender Twing, conducted a session on Mental Health & Well-being.

The session highlighted the importance of paying attention to mental well-being while balancing the demands of professional and personal life. It also reinforced the value of creating a workplace where people feel supported, resilient, and equipped to navigate challenges in a healthy and sustainable way.

For us, growth is not only about achieving business goals. It is also about creating an environment where our people can thrive.

Celebrating Q2 & Q3 Project Achievements

The Town Hall also gave us the opportunity to look back at the projects and accomplishments that defined Q2 and Q3 of 2026.

Md Amanur Rahman Khan, Lead Product Manager, led a special session recapping the projects completed across the two quarters. The session revisited key milestones, reflected on the work accomplished across different teams, and recognized the people whose contributions helped turn those projects into successful deliveries.

More importantly, it was a moment to celebrate the collective effort behind every achievement.

From planning and development to collaboration, problem-solving, testing, and delivery, every successful project was shaped by people working together toward a shared goal. The session recognized that progress is not defined by individual effort alone, but by the teamwork, ownership, and dedication that make successful execution possible.

Looking back at Q2 and Q3 allowed us not only to appreciate what we achieved, but also to celebrate everyone who helped make those achievements possible.

Exploring the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Role

Continuous learning remains an important part of how we grow at Riseup Labs.

Redwan Hasif Alvi, Senior Software Engineer, conducted an insightful session on the Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) role and its growing relevance in the technology industry.

The session explored how Forward Deployed Engineers operate at the intersection of technology, customers, and real-world business challenges.

Beyond strong engineering skills, the role emphasizes adaptability, communication, problem-solving, and the ability to understand customer needs closely while developing effective technical solutions.

The discussion gave our team another perspective on how modern engineering roles are evolving and why expanding our skills beyond traditional technical boundaries can create greater impact.

Recognizing Outstanding Performance

One of the highlights of the Town Hall was our Rewards & Recognition (R&R) segment, where we celebrated individuals and teams whose contributions stood out across Q2 and Q3 through performance, consistency, teamwork, and innovation.

The Outstanding Employee of the Quarter – In-House recognition was awarded to Kazi Samin and Abdul Gaffer for their outstanding contributions.

Md. Mehedi Hasan Nayem received the Outstanding Employee of the Quarter – Remote Team recognition for his exceptional performance and contribution.

The Top Performing Team Award went to the Talent Acquisition Team — Sadia Tasnim, Masudur Rahman Mithu, and Mohammad Zakaria Mahfuz — in recognition of their collective performance and teamwork.

Anindya Majumder received The Consistency Award, recognizing the value of dependable, sustained performance and commitment over time.

As AI becomes an increasingly important part of how we work, innovate, and solve problems, the AI Excellence Award recognized Mahfuzur Rahman and Sajarun Sadia for demonstrating excellence in embracing and applying AI.

Congratulations to all our award recipients and to every team member whose contribution helped shape our progress throughout Q2 and Q3.

Embracing an AI-Ready Future

The Town Hall concluded with a forward-looking message from our CEO about the opportunities ahead for Riseup Labs and the technology industry.

One message stood out clearly: AI is something to embrace, learn from, and grow alongside — not something to fear.

Artificial intelligence is transforming how people build products, solve problems, automate processes, and approach everyday work. As these technologies continue to evolve, the ability to work effectively alongside AI will become increasingly important.

The emphasis was on continuous learning and upskilling.

Rather than viewing AI purely as a replacement for human capabilities, we see an opportunity to combine technology with the creativity, judgment, expertise, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities of our people.

Staying relevant in a rapidly changing technology landscape means remaining curious, developing new skills, and being willing to adapt.

At Riseup Labs, we want our people to be ready for that future.

Moving Forward Together

Our September 29 Town Hall was both a celebration of what we accomplished during Q2 and Q3 of 2026 and a reminder of where we are heading next.

From conversations about mental well-being to celebrating successful projects, exploring emerging engineering roles, recognizing outstanding performers, and discussing the future of AI, the event reflected many of the values that continue to shape Riseup Labs.

As we move forward, we remain focused on learning continuously, supporting one another, recognizing meaningful contributions, embracing new technologies, and creating greater impact together.

The accomplishments of Q2 and Q3 give us plenty to celebrate — and even more to build on in the months ahead.
