Job Context:
Riseup Labs looking for a Product Analyst (Mid-Level) with 3+ years of experience in the software industry to join our Product team. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to product discovery, analysis, documentation, and design activities. This role requires strong analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable product requirements. The Product Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Developers, and QA teams to deliver impactful digital solutions across B2B and B2C domains.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Prepare clear and detailed documentation, including SRS, BRD, PRD, and functional specifications aligned with project goals.
- Create and refine wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using tools such as Figma or Framer to visualize requirements.
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports for clients and leadership, including product proposals and feature demos.
- Perform competitive research and market analysis to assist in product strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, Development, and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Use modern Product Management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp) for backlog management and sprint tracking.
- Contribute to roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and user story refinement within Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Assist in analyzing product usage data and preparing reports or dashboards to support data-driven decisions.
- Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to improve documentation and research efficiency.
- Maintain and follow internal standards, templates, and best practices for product documentation.
- Collaborate with senior team members to continuously improve product analysis methodologies.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A master’s degree is a plus, but not required
Additional Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or a related role in the software industry.
- Good understanding of product lifecycle management and requirement elicitation techniques.
- Hands-on experience preparing SRS, BRD, PRD, and other technical documentation.
- Proficiency in wireframing/prototyping tools (Figma, Framer, or similar).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management systems (Jira, Trello, etc.).
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience in tools like PowerPoint or AI-based Presentation tools like (gamma, Presently)
- Basic understanding of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) is a plus.
- Exposure to AI-powered tools for research and documentation will be advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Experience in SaaS or software product companies is highly preferred.
