Job Context
Riseup Labs is looking for a creative Video Editor to produce original long-form and short-form video content for Riseup Labs and its portfolio brands. The role will transform management and SME recordings, interviews, testimonials, webinars, podcasts, research and campaign material into engaging content for YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Rumble and other platforms.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit long-form videos for YouTube and other platforms.
- Create Shorts, Reels and other short-form video content.
- Edit interviews, webinars, podcasts, testimonials and case studies.
- Create engaging hooks, titles, subtitles, transitions and motion graphics.
- Repurpose long-form videos into multiple short-form assets.
- Adapt videos to different platform formats and aspect ratios.
- Maintain brand consistency across video content.
- Maintain organized video files and project assets.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any field.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of professional video-editing experience.
- Strong proficiency in AI Video Editing Tool, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects,CapCut or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing and audience retention.
- Knowledge of audio editing and color grading.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional video-editing work.
