Job Context:
Riseup Lab's is looking for a Technical Program Manager who can contribute to the program management and product delivery. As a technical program manager, your role is to manage multiple technical projects within product and engineering teams and implement processes to help engineering teams scale.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee engineering projects from planning to delivery. This includes coordination of project activities, making detailed plans to accomplish project goals, flagging risks, and providing timely updates on progress and issues.
- Act as a liaison between Product and engineering teams as well as stakeholders such as Marketing, DevRel, etc.
- Facilitate conversations between engineering and product teams to capture product requirements and to define scope, design and project plans.
- Provide timely and regular updates about project status to engineering teams, leadership, Hedera and other partners as needed.
- Assist in quarterly roadmap planning and prioritization for Product & Engineering.
- Participate in writing PRDs, HIPs and external communications as needed and ensure timely completion of those deliverables.
- Work with Marketing, DevRel, Developer Advocates and Comms teams to provide timely updates and communications to the community about upcoming features.
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.
Additional Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience managing projects and programs within technical environments.
- Prior experience and knowledge of program management principles, resource management, roadmap planning and OKRs.
- Good understanding of product development life cycle and program management frameworks.
- Experience using project management tools like Github, JIRA, Asana, etc.
- Ability to work globally across cultures and to effectively collaborate within the company and across organizations.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple work streams and and priorities.
- Experience working closely with multiple software engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Well-developed relationship skills to manage both internal stakeholders and external community leads.
- Knowledge of Blockchain/Crypto/Web3 products.
- Experience with crypto products and web3 communities is a plus.
