Job Context
Riseup Labs is looking for a Social Media Executive to execute social media strategies and daily communication activities across Riseup Labs and its portfolio brands. The role will focus on publishing, content distribution, audience engagement, video promotion, community activities and day-to-day execution across multiple social platforms while working closely with the Brand & Communication Manager and other marketing teams.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute approved social media strategies and content calendars.
- Manage daily publishing across LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and other relevant platforms.
- Adapt company expertise, research, case studies, webinars and videos into social content.
- Repurpose long-form content into platform-specific posts and short-form content.
- Support webinar, podcast and campaign promotion.
- Monitor and manage comments, messages, mentions and relevant industry conversations.
- Prepare regular performance reports.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any field.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years of experience in social media or digital marketing.
- Strong understanding of B2B & B2C social media.
- Strong Social Media Copywriting skills.
- Experience managing social media calendars and publishing.
- Experience creating or adapting content for multiple platforms.
- Must be comfortable representing brands and participating in engagement activities on camera.
Tools & Technical Skills
- Proficient in using AI tools for social media activities and content creation.
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator or similar tools.
- Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools.
- Sound knowledge of photography and video shooting is an advantage.
Soft Skills
- Excellent English communication.
