Job Context:
Riseup Labs is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented RFP Proposal Writer to join our team in Dhaka. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience writing proposals for U.S. clients, preferably in healthcare staffing or clinical services. You will work closely with our U.S.-based team and use AI-powered tools to help generate, refine, and manage high-volume RFP submissions (20–35 proposals per month).
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret RFP documents from U.S. government agencies, hospital systems, and other healthcare organizations.
- Collaborate with U.S. team members (sales, operations, compliance) to gather technical and organizational input for proposal responses.
- Draft and format compliant, compelling, and client-specific RFP responses, including executive summaries, qualifications, staffing plans, technical approaches, and pricing justifications.
- Use AI tools to accelerate first drafts, content suggestions, and template updates—while retaining full accountability for quality and accuracy.
- Manage a consistent output of 20 to 35 RFPs per month, balancing quick turnarounds with attention to detail and strategic positioning.
- Maintain a comprehensive content library, boilerplate repository, and proposal tracking database.
- Participate in weekly team check-ins, debriefs, and internal reviews to improve process efficiency and proposal quality.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in any discpline
Additional Requirements:
- Preferred degree in English, Procurement, Law, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on RFP writing experience, preferably responding to U.S. government or healthcare-related solicitations.
- Excellent English writing and editing skills with a strong grasp of U.S. business writing tone and terminology.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Dropbox, Slack, or Microsoft Teams).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Familiarity with proposal formatting for SAM.gov, GSA, and state/local procurement systems is a strong plus.
- Experience using AI writing tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly, Notion AI) is preferred—must be open to guided AI-assisted writing.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working for U.S. clients or in a BPO/outsourcing environment.
- Knowledge of U.S. healthcare system terminology, roles, and regulations.
- Familiarity with healthcare staffing models, including locum tenens, permanent placement, and travel nursing.
