Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for a skilled Key Account Manager to oversee the relationships of the company with its most important clients. The successful candidate will manage and grow key client accounts, ensure customer satisfaction, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in key account management, excellent communication skills, and a strategic mindset.
Job Responsibilities:
Team Management
- Assess team members' status and proactively address challenges to ensure optimal productivity.
- Conduct daily/weekly sync meetings to facilitate effective communication and team collaboration.
- Identify training needs and conduct relevant sessions to enhance team skills and performance.
- Implement strategic plans for the team’s sustainability, expansion, downsizing, and risk assessment, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage the onboarding process for new team members, ensuring a smooth integration into the team.
- Act as a central point of contact between the team and internal/external stakeholders.
- Track and analyze team data using efficient worksheets, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
- Prepare comprehensive team meeting agendas and conduct one-on-one sessions to review individual performance and progress.
Client Management
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify sales opportunities, working collaboratively with the team to drive revenue growth.
- Generate detailed weekly/monthly reports, providing insights into key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduation in any discipline (B.Sc in CSE from any reputed public or private university will get an advantage)
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience (03-05 years) as a Key Account Manager.
- Candidates with backgrounds in Client Success Management, Relationship Management, or Team Leadership are encouraged to apply.
- Must be fluent in English
- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodology, Project Management tools, and Scrum principles will be highly appreciated
- Proficiency in basic programming knowledge, API, and database concepts to effectively communicate with technical teams.
- Develop and deliver impactful presentations and documentation as needed.
- Experience in sales will be highly appreciated
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels.
Must have Qualifications:
- Must be comfortable with a compensation structure that includes both fixed pay and performance-based variable incentives.
- Should have a general understanding of IT-enabled services, outsourcing, digital solutions, or online business marketplaces.
Nice to have:
- Confident in presenting ideas and maintaining professional conversations with overseas clients.
- Comfortable engaging with people from different countries and business cultures.
- Organized in handling follow-ups, meeting notes, account updates, and sales coordination tasks.
- Energetic, self-motivated, and driven to grow in an international business environment.
- Capable of working with ownership, accountability, and a strong sense of urgency.
