Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for an IT Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment for the USA market. The role involves sourcing, screening, and hiring top IT professionals through job boards, LinkedIn, and professional networks. The recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers, negotiate offers, and ensure compliance with US hiring practices. Strong communication, networking, and market knowledge are essential to attract and secure the best talent.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and technical leads to understand open IT positions and required qualifications.
- Proactively source candidates via job boards, LinkedIn, internal ATS, and other channels.
- Screen candidates for technical skills, communication ability, and cultural fit.
- Present qualified candidates with detailed summaries, rate expectations, and availability.
- Coordinate interviews and follow-ups with candidates and clients.
- Maintain accurate records in our applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Provide regular updates to internal teams and hiring managers on pipeline progress.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Additional Requirements:
- 2–5 years of IT recruiting experience, preferably in the U.S. staffing or consulting industry.
- Proven success sourcing and placing candidates in roles such as software engineers, system administrators, DevOps engineers, data scientists, and project managers.
- Strong familiarity with technical terminology, development stacks, and certification standards (e.g., AWS, Azure, PMP, CISSP, etc.).
- Experience working with contract, contract-to-hire, and permanent placement models.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in using ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Indeed, and sourcing extensions.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting aggressive hiring timelines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting U.S. federal or state government IT contracts.
- Familiarity with H-1B and work authorization considerations.
- Exposure to healthcare IT, EMR/EHR systems, or regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
