Job Context
Riseup Labs is looking for Content Writing Interns / Junior Content Writers to support the production and optimization of commercially relevant content across Riseup Labs and its portfolio websites. Fresh graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Write web content based on approved briefs.
- Write and update service, industry, comparison and use-case content.
- Improve existing articles based on search intent.
- Add relevant internal links and contextual CTAs.
- Conduct basic research and fact-check information.
- Ensure content is original and useful.
- Follow editorial and AI Search-friendly content standards.
- Work across multiple portfolio websites.
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor degree in any field.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent writing in English.
- Strong grammar and proofreading skills.
- Ability to research unfamiliar topics.
- Ability to follow content briefs.
- Basic understanding of SEO/AEO/GEO and search intent.
- Basic AI prompting skills.
- Ability to implement contextual CTAs and internal links.
- A can-do attitude is a must.
Tools & Technical Skills
- Comfortable and proficient in using AI tools for research, ideation and content workflows.
- Google Docs and Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with WordPress is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of SEO tools such as Semrush or Ahrefs is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of content optimization and internal linking.
