Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for a Frontend developer to join the team. As a Frontend Developer, you will be involved in the design, implementation, and optimization of the applications that advance the state-of-the-art production tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or Nuxt.js.
- Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement state management (Redux, Vuex, Pinia, Zustand, etc.).
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable front-end code with proper version control (Git).
- Work closely with UI/UX designers to translate designs into functional components.
- Ensure strong SEO, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and perform front-end code reviews.
- Participate in sprint planning and contribute to architectural discussions.
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in React.js or Vue.js (minimum 3 years)
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or Nuxt.js for SSR/SSG development
- Expert in HTML5, CSS3, TailwindCSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Familiarity with TypeScript and component-based architecture
- Experience integrating with backend APIs (REST / GraphQL)
- Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization
- Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows
Additional Skills:
- Experience with unit testing (Jest, Cypress, Vitest)
- Familiarity with UI frameworks (Ant Design, Vuetify, Material UI, Shadcn/UI)
- Basic understanding of Node.js for frontend build/deployment
- Knowledge of Docker and cloud-based deployment (Vercel, Netlify, AWS)
