Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for a Frontend developer to join the team. As a Frontend Developer, you will be involved in the design, implementation and optimization of the applications that advance the state-of-the-art production tools.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React, Next.js, Vue.js, or Nuxt.js.
- Build pixel-perfect UI using Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement wireframes and prototypes.
- Integrate frontend with backend APIs (REST/GraphQL).
- Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and SEO.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers when needed.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and staging environments.
- Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.
Additional Requirements:
- 2 years of professional experience as a frontend developer.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, and/or Nuxt.js.
- Mandatory expertise in Tailwind CSS and Bootstrap.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Vuex, Pinia, Redux, Zustand, etc.).
- Experience working with REST APIs/GraphQL.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser issues, and accessibility.
- Familiar with version control systems (Git/GitHub/GitLab).
- Experience with CI/CD workflows, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, RTL, Vitest) is a plus.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
