Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for an Associate in the People and Culture department at Riseup Labs Ltd., you will play a crucial role in shaping our organization's success by attracting, retaining, and nurturing top talent. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with hiring managers, employees, and external partners to drive our HR initiatives forward.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates using various recruitment methods including job social media, and networking.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Maintain accurate HR data and generate reports for management review.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Verify timesheets, bonuses, and other payroll-related information.
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Manage company career pages, social media channels, and employer review sites.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.

  • Cultivate relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry influencers.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate applications and data.

Educational Requirements:

  • BBA/MBA in Human Resource Management.

Additional Requirements:

  • Min 2 years of experience in BPO recruitment, preferably within the tech/software/IT industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to source and attract top technical talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. (Oracle preferred)
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
