DEIED is a Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority project focused on expanding women’s employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in IT and ITES. Riseup Labs supported the program as the training and management partner by training 200 women, awarding vendor certifications, and enabling job placement outcomes.
The Digital Entrepreneur and Innovation Ecosystem Development project was created by the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority to strengthen women’s participation in Bangladesh’s digital economy. The program focused on practical IT skills, digital entrepreneurship, employability, and private-sector readiness through a blended training model. Riseup Labs managed the training delivery, logistics, certification support, evaluation, and job placement activities, helping 200 women build market-ready skills and supporting 60% of trainees with job placement opportunities.
