Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of software testing methodologies and extensive hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks. This role requires proficiency in working within an Agile environment and familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing life cycle (STLC), and related methodologies.
Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium, Katalon, and other industry-standard automation tools.
- Programming proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and Groovy will be highly advantageous.
- Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to define test automation requirements, strategies, and acceptance criteria.
- Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
- Experienced in JIRA and Zephyr for project management, test case management, and defect tracking.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
- Experienced in API testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of RESTful APIs.
- Experienced in performance testing using tools like JMeter.
- Experienced in SQL. Perform database testing to verify data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or other industry-standard tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as GitHub.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, prioritize, and resolve software defects and other quality issues.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in CSE / EEE / IT or related fields.
Additional Requirements:
- Prior experience in the Automotive Finance & Insurance domain is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in writing automation scripts using Katalon is required.
- Hands-on experience with multiple automation tools is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, with proven capability to lead and manage a team.
