Job Context:
We are looking for an Integration & Middleware Engineer to design and manage secure API and integration ecosystems using the WSO2 platform. The role involves implementing enterprise API governance, identity and access management, and reliable system integrations across services. You will develop and maintain secure integration flows, manage API gateways, and ensure strong authentication and authorization frameworks. The position also contributes to automation, system observability, and enterprise-grade reliability.
Job Responsibilities:
API Management (WSO2 APIM)
- Deploy and manage API Gateway, Traffic Manager, and Analytics components
- Implement throttling, caching, rate limiting, and quota enforcement
- Manage OAuth2/JWT, subscription workflows, and lifecycle governance
- Administer Developer Portal & API productization
Identity & Access Management (WSO2 IS)
- Configure OIDC/SAML SSO, MFA, adaptive authentication
- Implement SCIM-based JML flows, role provisioning, token lifecycle & key rotation
- Strengthen IAM security posture across applications and APIs
Enterprise Integration (WSO2 MI)
- Build and operate mediation flows, transformations, routing, error handling
- Integrate APIs with JMS, Kafka, databases, and core banking services
- Set up clustering, high availability, and distributed integration patterns
Automation, Reliability & Compliance
- Implement GitOps-based CI/CD pipelines for integration artefacts
- Ensure observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and audit readiness
- Contribute to DR planning and meet enterprise RPO/RTO objectives

- Enterprise API governance, IAM modernization, and secure integration flows
Educational Requirements:
- B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.
Must‑Have Qualifications:
- 5+ years in API/IAM/Integration engineering
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with the WSO2 suite
- Strong expertise in OAuth2, OIDC, API Gateway patterns
Nice‑to‑Have:
- WSO2 product certifications
- Experience with Keycloak
- Strong security engineering background
