Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking for an operations manager to join the team. As an operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day production workflow, ensure quality standards, and streamline communication across teams. This role is critical in scaling our photo editing operations and supporting both clients and internal teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end workflow for retouching projects to meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with clients to clarify project requirements.
- Work with the accounts team to help track project billing, verify deliverables against invoices, and support timely payments.
- Monitor QC processes to maintain international standards.
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements, including automation tools.
- Plan and manage resource allocation, training, and recruitment for scaling operations.
- Prepare operational performance reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality, data security, and company policies.
- Support the Sales team during the pilot process by inquiring and communicating directly with prospective clients
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
Additional Requirements:
- 3–5 years of professional experience in operations management in a creative, outsourcing, or photo editing agency.
- Hands-on experience in Image Editing Services (retouching, clipping path, color correction, etc.)
- Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of image editing/retouching workflows (Photoshop, Lightroom, AI tools) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of invoicing, billing, and financial documentation.
- Effective communication in English (spoken and written).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
