Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to lead our Branding & Communication functions. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing social media strategies, leading content creation efforts, and building a strong digital presence across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate should be camera-friendly, highly creative, and have expertise in anchoring live podcasts, webinars, and video presentations. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong background in branding, photography, videography, and AI tools to enhance social media copy, graphics, and video production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy & Branding: Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to increase brand visibility and engagement. Align the brand's voice and identity with all digital content.
  • Creative Content Generation & Ideation: Generate creative ideas that effectively communicate the brand's message. Produce and manage high-quality, engaging content including posts, stories, carousels, and videos.
  • Photography & Videography: Lead the creation of professional, high-quality photos and videos for marketing, social media, and internal use.
  • Photo/Video Editing: Edit and enhance photos and videos using tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, and After Effects to ensure content is visually compelling and aligned with brand standards.
  • AI-Powered Social Media Copywriting: Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or other platforms to enhance social media copy, generate compelling captions, headlines, and calls-to-action.
  • Ad Campaign Management & Retargeting: Manage paid social media campaigns on platforms like Meta Ads and LinkedIn Ads, using AI-powered tools to optimize targeting and performance.
  • Webinars, Podcasts & Media Engagement: Serve as the face of Riseup Labs in webinars, podcasts, and live events. Represent the brand confidently while engaging with audiences.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead the social media team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content aligns with marketing and branding goals. Mentor junior team members to help them develop their skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, branding, photography/videography, and photo/video editing. Familiarity with AI tools for content generation is a plus but not required.

Additional Requirements:

  • AI Expertise: Experience with AI-based tools for social media copywriting and content creation such as ChatGPT, Jasper, Writesonic, etc.
  • Creative Content Production: Strong experience in photography, videography, and photo/video editing for creating engaging content across social platforms.
  • Ad Campaign Management: Experience with Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn Ads, including retargeting with Facebook Pixel.
  • Social Media Strategy: Proven track record in growing social media presence, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to convey brand messaging effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Experience managing or mentoring a team in a creative environment.

  • Uttara, Dhaka

Working hour:

  • 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM

Salary: 

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)
