Job Context:
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js and NestJS to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable APIs, optimizing system performance, and collaborating with frontend and DevOps teams to deliver production-ready applications. You should be comfortable working independently while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop scalable backend applications using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Design and build secure APIs with proper authentication and authorization.
- Manage relational and non-relational databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MSSQL.
- Implement SSR and CSR using Next.js.
- Apply clean architecture and CQRS pattern for robust application structure.
- Follow Agile methodologies for iterative development and delivery.
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, version control with Git, and cloud deployment practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CSE, CS, or ICT.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in backend development with Node.js and Nest.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience in API design (REST, GraphQL) and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI).
- Hands-on with microservices and optionally gRPC.
- Good understanding of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving ability and Agile team collaboration experience.
