Job Context:
Riseup Labs looking for an experienced Senior Graphics Designer who is expert in image manipulation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Removing blemishes from models
- Matching skin tone to previously retouched images of models
- Changing the color of clothing worn by model
- Adding/removing graphics on the model.
- Manage all photography requests – including catalog (location and studio), web, e-commerce, marketing and PR
- Documents and interprets color management readings and make adjustments to balance color output between digital
- Retouches photos at an expert level
- Responsible for color matching/accuracy and color draping processes
- Determines, educates and troubleshoots Photoshop solutions and new Photoshop actions
- Work efficiently through high volumes, meeting tight deadlines within established budgets
- Attend new project turnovers and weekly production meetings as part of the client’s creative team
- Create layout comps, rough and presentation materials as requested
- Make corrections and modifications to Client proofs as requested
- Prepare Client proofs for approval
- Demonstrate the ability to perform well and remain organized under tight deadlines
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Advertising or Fine Arts, but will accept adequate experience in lieu of formal education.
- 5+ years’ design experience, with exposure to both digital and production studio experience.
- Portfolio to example your skills and aesthetic
- Portfolio must show examples of print work and ideally digital manipulation or photo composite (before and after)
- Agency experience a plus
- Excellent type and layout skills paired with a strong design aesthetic
- Must have expertise in Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, and InVision skills
- Web dev understanding / abilities is a plus
- Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Highly organized with a clear and responsive communication style
- Great attention to detail
