Job Context:

Riseup Labs is seeking for a Lead of Presales & Business Analyst. The Lead of Presales & Business Analysis will own and lead the complete presales business analysis function for client projects across B2B and B2C domains. This role is responsible for independently managing presales analysis, solution definition, scope, estimation, budgeting, and proposal development.

Job Responsibilities:

Presales Ownership & Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the Presales Business Analysis team
  • Act as the single point of ownership for all presales analysis activities
  • Define and improve presales processes and methodologies

Presales Execution (Hands-on):

  • Requirement analysis and scope definition
  • Prepare Scope of Work (SoW), technical proposals, and financial proposals
  • Define development approach, methodology, and delivery models
  • Effort estimation, budgeting, pricing, and risk analysis

Client Interaction:

  • Join and lead client meetings for local and global markets
  • Conduct discovery sessions and solution discussions
  • Act as a trusted presales advisor

Decision Making:

  • Own and approve presales scope, estimation, and budgets
  • Ensure commercial viability and margin alignment

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Business Development and Delivery teams
  • Ensure smooth handover from presales to execution

AI & Tools:

  • Use AI tools for analysis, documentation, and presentations
  • Continuously improve presales efficiency through automation

Required Skills:

  • Strong presales and business analysis expertise
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • High technical knowledge of software development
  • Strong planning and decision-making ability

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in IT/Software Business Analysis in Presales
  • 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Experience with global and local clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

Success Metrics:

  • Proposal win rate
  • Accuracy of scope and estimation
  • Client satisfaction during presales

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the software industry.
  • Solid understanding of business and functional requirement documentation, and familiarity with SRS, BRD, and PRD preparation.
  • Experience with process modeling, use cases, UML diagrams, and workflow design.
  • Good knowledge of budget estimation and proposal preparation for software projects.
  • Proficiency in presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
  • Hands-on experience with requirement management tools (MS Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma, or similar).
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to AI-assisted tools for documentation, research, or workflow optimization will be an advantage.
  • Experience in SaaS or software product companies is preferred.

Job Location:

  • Uttara, Dhaka.

Salary Range:

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)

Office Time:

  • 09.00 AM- 06.00 PM
