Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a Senior Unreal Engine Developer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building exciting multiplayer games and has significant experience working with Unreal Engine.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the systems and tools necessary to implement gameplay features
  • Prototype new gameplay features
  • Write clear, maintainable, scalable, and highly functional code
  • Experience in Blue Print
  • Test, debug, profile and optimize implementations
  • Actively attend code review

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Additional Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a game development engineer, UE4 developer, or comparative role;
  • Proficiency in C++;
  • Strong computer science foundation, good math and physics knowledge;
  • Fluent in English communication
  • Ability to collaborate and work well with other disciplines;
  • Good to have experience in developing networked games
  • Shipped at least 3 titles on PC, console, and/or mobile platforms;
  • Experience with source control systems such as Git in a multi-developer team environment;
  • Understanding the UX design process and experience working with the UX design team and/or development team;
