Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer with 3 years of hands-on experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The role focuses on automation, reliability, and collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines

  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker & Kubernetes

  • Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / GCP / Azure

  • Configure and maintain Linux servers Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)

  • Monitor system performance, uptime, and alerts

  • Improve system security, backups, and disaster recovery

  • Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment workflows

  • Troubleshoot production and deployment issues

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Additional Requirements:

  • 3 years of DevOps / Cloud experience

  • Strong Linux administration skills

  • Experience with Docker & Kubernetes

  • CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins

  • Cloud platforms: AWS / GCP / Azure

  • Scripting: Bash / Python

  • Version control: Git

  • Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Helm

  • Knowledge of Nginx / Apache

  • Security best practices (IAM, SSL, secrets)

  • Experience with microservices

  • Cloud certifications (AWS/GCP)

Workplace: 

  • Uttara, Dhaka

Working Hours:

  • 9:00 pm – 6:00 am

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)
